Gratitude, Growth, and Grit: Wishing Kaviya Ravi the Very Best

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Some experiences go beyond professional deliverables—they reaffirm the value of attitude, sincerity, and gratitude in the workplace. Kaviya Ravi’s internship journey with SSN iFound is one such experience that deserves reflection and celebration.

Kaviya, an MBA student from SSN School of Management, recently completed her course and came back to meet the team before stepping into her corporate career. Her gesture of returning to express heartfelt thanks was deeply moving and spoke volumes about the kind of professional she is becoming. In a world where moving on is often hurried, her decision to pause and express gratitude reminded us that attitude matters as much as aptitude.

Her time with us during her internship (mid-May to mid-July 2024) was marked not just by her output, but by the way she approached every learning opportunity. She took genuine interest in exploring the nuances of finance within a startup incubation setting—an area not commonly covered in MBA textbooks. What stood out was her initiative to explore unfamiliar domains and translate that learning into meaningful contributions.

For those who would like to know more about the work she did and the value she added, I had captured it in an earlier blog post titled The Power of Initiative: Kaviya Ravi’s Impact at SSN iFound.

Behind every promising intern is often someone who spots potential early. In this case, it was my colleague Roopa, who teaches entrepreneurship at SSN School of Management. She believed in Kaviya’s potential and brought her to SSN iFound. It’s thanks to her that we had an intern with such a capable and committed individual.

Our CEO, Mr. T S Giridharan (Giri), supported the onboarding and his openness to nurturing young talent continues to set the tone for the culture we are building at SSN iFound.

My colleague Dheepan not only brought warmth and humour to the workplace, but also imparted subtle yet valuable management lessons that enriched Kaviya’s learning beyond the task at hand. In many ways, he made sure Kaviya experienced the culture of working hard while enjoying the journey.

Kaviya is now all set to begin her next chapter as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte later this year. We are confident that she will bring the same sincerity, warmth, and willingness to learn into her corporate role.

Kaviya, your journey is just beginning. Keep learning, keep growing, and never lose that spark of gratitude that makes you stand out. We’re proud to have been a small part of your story.
